Meet Kayla
How/Why did you become a designer?
I became a designer after taking a liking to fine art and illustration through school. I started out painting, and then my love of typography and graffiti style art influenced my path towards becoming a graphic designer.
What do you love about designing the best?
I love to see my designs come to life – from on my screen to print. Then onto a shelf in a store, out in the world! It’s the most satisfying thing to see all your choices be executed for others to see. Plus being able to draw silly, pretty and fun things for a living is a cool thing.
3 fun facts about yourself:
- Aside from art, another hobby I enjoy is music. I can play guitar, keyboard & sing.
- I have two pet mini lop rabbits, named Merry & Pippin.
- I love Lord of the Rings.
