Meet Laura
How/Why did you become a designer?
I’ve always loved creating things and I knew I’d do something “arty” as a career, however I had no idea about all the possibilities!
I truly thought I would just design CD covers for bands as a career! Then I completed a degree in Graphic Design and my portfolio really lent itself to creating art & designing for the Greeting, Gift, Apparel market and almost 20 years on, I am still here. And I love it.
What do you love about designing the best?
I love designing all sorts of products, repeat patterns for Wrapping Paper and Textiles, Stationery Collections, Greeting Cards any sort of product really!
3 fun facts about yourself:
1. I once had a goldfish with no eyes, she just blank space where her eyes should have been.
2. I have 2 dogs – a rescued Pugalier called Munchkin and a Doxipoo called Barney.
3. I am a “Master” Audible (audiobooks) listener and listen to about 3 novels a week. I really love stories.
